Debarwa, 21 December 2012 – A number of dairy, poultry, fruits and vegetables farmers in Debarwa sub-zone said that an industrious mind is a major prerequisite for triumph in agriculture.
Among the farmers, Ms. Abeba Melake, said that she had few cattle at a time she was rehabilitated as a freedom fighter, and that she presently owns remarkable dairy and poultry farms. Furthermore, she said that she has acquired adequate experience in her career through pursuing creativity, hard work and self-confidence despite her full engagement in domestic chores.
Mr. Mehari Berhe who initially had a 170,000 Nakfa capital in an agricultural business, explained that he is presently in a position to raise his capital to 5 million Nakfa through full engagement of his family members in the venture. “This is an outcome of a long cherished vision and hard work,” he added.
