Keren, 28 December 2012 – The inhabitants of Anseba-Lemecheli area, Anseba region, have lauded the commendable transportation service being rendered along the newly built road in the locality, which has become a basis for expanding socio-economic activities. They voiced their appreciation at a meeting they held with the Administrator of Anseba region, Mr. Gergis Girmai, during which he indicated that such accomplishment attests to the government’s commitment to promote rural development.

The participants of the meeting explained that they used to lead a taxing style of living due to lack of reliable transportation facility, and that they are presently in a position to even engage in transporting their agricultural and other products to other localities.

Commending the role of development committees of villages in the process of the road’s construction, Mr. Gergis further called on the inhabitants to sustain their popular initiatives in its follow-up.
