Colleges contributing in filling shortage of teachers

Colleges built with huge expenditure in different parts of the country are significantly contributing in filling the shortage of teachers, disclosed Mr. Hagos Adhana, head of Ministry of Education Ansaba region branch.

Keren, 6 January 2013- Colleges built with huge expenditure in different parts of the country are significantly contributing in filling the shortage of teachers, disclosed Mr. Hagos Adhana, head of Ministry of Education Ansaba region branch.

He further explained that the investment made in developing the colleges is registering positive impact in different development sectors and that students graduated in degree and diploma programs are contributing in the success of teaching and learning process in general and in filling the shortage of teachers in particular.

Teacher Amine’ab Haile, Director of Rora Secondary School, on his part said that the teachers are being assigned in accordance to their field of study and that they are significantly contributing in alleviating the existed shortage of teachers.

Likewise, Teachers Semhar Hassan and Tsion Mahdere expressed resolve to live up to expectations in fulfilling their responsibilities and called on students to effectively use the opportunities they are provided.

Documents from the Ministry of Education branch office indicate that there are 190 newly graduated teachers assigned in different schools in the region.
