The inhabitants of Adobha and Qrora sub-zones, Northern Red Sea region, expressed satisfaction with social service facilities.

Massawa, 10 January 2013 – The inhabitants of Adobha and Qrora sub-zones, Northern Red Sea region, expressed satisfaction with social service facilities. They expressed their appreciation at respective meetings they conducted recently during which the inhabitants voiced conviction that the nation’s development drive is an outcome of the peoples’ steadfastness. They further lauded the government’s commitment to rural development.

According to reports presented by the sub-zonal administrators as regards the accomplishments made in 2012, remarkable achievements have been made in the locality in the domains of health, potable water supply, education, transports and others. The Administrators also called on the inhabitants to enhance participation pertaining to action programs mapped out for implementation in the localities.

Mr. Amr Hamd, head of the PFDJ branch in the Northern Red Sea region, explained that endeavors exerted to ensure food security on the basis of community-based soil and water conservation activities have made positive impact. Moreover, he pointed out that further efforts would be exerted to this end.

The inhabitants said that they would extend a helping hand towards ensuring sustainability of social services and other State affairs.
