Inhabitants of Gelet Administrative area become beneficiaries of various social services

The inhabitants of Gelet Administrative area, Habero sub-zone, said that they have become beneficiaries of various social services on the basis of resort to community-based lifestyle. Habero, 12 January 2013 – The inhabitants of Gelet Administrative area, Habero sub-zone, said that they have become beneficiaries of various social services on the basis of resort to community-based lifestyle.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Mohammed Adem indicated that nomadic style of living used to be the major quandary as regards effective utilization of the available social service facilities, and called on fellow inhabitants in other villages to take initiative towards such lifestyle. Likewise, Afrah Hamd, a student, expressed satisfaction with the educational service being rendered to junior level.

Mr. Mohammed Idris Osman, Administrator of Gelet Administrative area, explained that the inhabitants’ initiative has given rise to better impact of social service facilities such as potable water supply and education.
