The Health Ministry’s branch in Anseba region indicated that endeavors exerted towards promoting health service have borne positive outcome. Keren, 25 January 2013 – The Health Ministry’s branch in Anseba region indicated that endeavors exerted towards promoting health service have borne positive outcome. It made the statement at an assessment meeting conducted in Keren city in which the participants evaluated the accomplishment registered as regards communicable and non-communicable diseases, child immunization, environmental hygiene, as well as pediatric and maternity services.
Speaking at the meeting, the Minister of Health, Ms. Amna Nur-Hussein, made reference to the ways and means of addressing the branch office’s challenges. She further pointed out that the Ministry would further equip 40 health institutions and open new ones in remote areas, and called on the inhabitants to step up their participation in the process.
Also speaking at the meeting, the Administrator of Anseba region, Mr. Gergis Girmai, voiced the Administration’s readiness to collaborate in the implementation of the Ministry’s future undertakings.
