Haikota residents express readiness to collaborate in the construction of new community hospital

Haikota, 28 January 2013 – The residents of Haikota semi-urban center have expressed readiness to collaborate in the construction of a new community hospital. They further voiced conviction that the availability of such upgraded health service would be a stepping stone to improved community health.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Musa Shi’eya, Mr. Gebregziabher Tewolde, Mr. Haj Ali and Mr. Humed Mohammed lauded the government’s commitment towards ensuring equitable health service nationwide. They also said that the opening of community hospital would enable them to save time and energy on the basis of reducing referral cases to other places and expanding health services.
