The Administration of Adi-Keyih sub-zone indicated that significant development accomplishments have been registered in 2012.
Adi-Keyih, 30 January 2013 – The Administration of Adi-Keyih sub-zone indicated that significant development accomplishments have been registered in 2012. It made the statement at an assessment meeting, during which it was stated that gratifying achievement was made as regards renovation of dirt roads, adult education, introduction of temperate fruits, soil and water conservation, as well as the popularization of energy-conserving stove, Adhanet.
Mr. Habte Kidane, head of administration and finance in the Administration, pointed out that a total of 105,000 inhabitants participated in the development activities which also included afforestation, renovation of water wells and ponds, besides extending labor support to families of martyrs.
Mr. Osman Arafa, Administrator of Adi-Keyih sub-zone, on his part disclosed that the Administration’s future undertakings would focus on distribution of tiesa land plots in Haineba and Hadamu villages, revamping of the road along Kohaito-Demhina escarpment and compiling data regarding tiesa land plots distributed over the past 20 years, among others.
The participants of the meeting expressed readiness to enhance participation in national development activities, and put forth views pertaining to various issues.
