Gogne, 19 February 2013 – The inhabitants of Gogne sub-zone said that the availability of ample water resources in the locality on the basis of Mogoraib River has become a springboard to growing socio-economic activities. They further indicated that such resources have ensured adequate water supply for humans and livestock, besides their positive impact in forestry resources.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Ahmed Ramadan, Mr. Adem Musa, Mr. Kerar Ferej and Ms. Meryem Yaekob explained that the flourishing palm trees along the river and availability of distinct soil quality has become of remarkable economic importance for basketry, ceramic works and sales of coconut products. The local market is thus witnessing dynamic merchandizing activities, they added.
