Reports indicated that Eritrean cyclists registered a sparkling triumph in Tour Eritrea 2013 which began today in Mendefera and winded up in Keren involving 152 Km.
Asmara, 19 February 2013 – Reports indicated that Eritrean cyclists registered a sparkling triumph in Tour Eritrea 2013 which began today in Mendefera and winded up in Keren involving 152 Km. Accordingly,
Eritrean cyclists Meron Teshome and Meron Amanuel seized the first and second ranks, while Algerian Ezedin Lagat stood third, and Eritrean Bereket Yemane ranked second in uphill racing.
The second and third competitions would take place along Keren-Barentu and Tessenei-Agordat routes, as the final tournament would proceed from Keren to Asmara.
It is to be recalled that Tour Eritrea won international recognition in 2009.
