Education Ministry produces promotional film: Report

The Ministry of Education has produced a promotional film entitled “Birhan Wushti” with a view to crystallizing favorable public opinion as regards student-centered education. Asmara, 23 February 2013 – The Ministry of Education has produced a promotional film entitled “Birhan Wushti” with a view to crystallizing favorable public opinion as regards student-centered education.

Mr. Simon Hagos, the writer of the film that was inaugurated yesterday at Cinema Roma, indicated that it depicts the proper instructive position of teachers in education vis-à-vis the cherished bent of students for research in such a way that triggers public goodwill to this end.

Mr. Solomon Dirar, director of the film, expressed conviction that it would make significant impact in creating mutual understanding regarding such educational philosophy.

The Ministry pointed out that the film which includes English and Arabic subtitles would shortly be staged for students and the society at large.
