Inhabitants of Shebeq and Ad-Omar Administrative areas elect local Administrators

The inhabitants of Shebeq and Ad-Omar Administrative areas, Hagaz sub-zone, have elected local Administrators.

Hagaz, 1 March 2013 – The inhabitants of Shebeq and Ad-Omar Administrative areas, Hagaz sub-zone, have elected local Administrators.

In a remark he made in the election process, Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim, head of social service in the sub-zone, called on the inhabitants to make a sober vote for fellow inhabitants who are committed towards ensuring social justice and backing the national development process.

Mr. Amine Araya, a member of the Anseba regional Assembly, pointed out that remarkable development accomplishments have been registered through the collaboration between the government and the inhabitants, and called on the new elects to work in harmony with the communities so as to give added impetus to such developmental momentum. Likewise, Mr. Ateshim Negasi, head of the PFDJ branch in the sub-zone, called on the new Administrators to demonstrate commitment in the implementation of new programs targeting improvement of the inhabitants’ livelihood.

The election participants on their part put forth views regarding challenges the new Administrators should address on priority basis.
