The Administration of Haikota sub-zone has called on the inhabitants to enhance integrated endeavors as regards raising female participation in education. Haikota, 2 March 2013 – The Administration of Haikota sub-zone has called on the inhabitants to enhance integrated endeavors as regards raising female participation in education.

It made the call at an assessment meeting during which it was stated that the role of school administrators, teachers and government bodies is vital to this end. The meeting further addressed various social quandaries sapping girls’ educational progress at all educational levels, and noted that reinforcement of promotional and community sensitization activities is important in this regard.

Mr. Hamd Yusuf, Administrator of Haikota sub-zone, disclosed that the mapped out related programs target further endeavors pertaining to adult education and popularization of community-based style of living, among others.
The participants of the meeting on their part expressed readiness to strive for the realization of the cherished goal, and put forth views regarding various issues.
