Inhabitants of Aklalat express satisfaction with provision of potable water supply

The inhabitants of Aklalat, Golij sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with provision of potable water supply. Aklalat, 3 March 2013- The inhabitants of Aklalat, Golij sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with provision of potable water supply.

The inhabitants explained that before the implementation of the project they were compelled to drink from one well alongside their livestock and that to date they have been able to drink clean water from their back yards.

Ms. Nawda Idris, cashier of the water point, explained that thanks to the project the inhabitants have been able to drink clean water and called on inhabitants for judicious usage.

From inhabitants, Mr. Misgina Zere expressed that with the provision of potable water in their back yard their children have been able to save time from going far to fetch water and instead concentrate on the their studies.

Mr. Idris Mohammed, administrator of Aklalat administrative area, indicated that the project includes two reservoirs holding 150 barrels each, four water points as well as two wells working with solar system.
