The Eritrean community members in the Swedish city of Göteborg and its environs have expressed readiness to back the national development drive.
Asmara, 4 March 2013 – The Eritrean community members in the Swedish city of Göteborg and its environs have expressed readiness to back the national development drive. They made the pledge at a meeting conducted last weekend during which extensive briefings were given regarding the economic, diplomatic and development accomplishments being registered in the Homeland.
Mr. Tekle Mengistu, head of community affairs in the Eritrean Embassy, said that the hostile attempts of various forms concocted to sap the nation’s development drive are but futile. He further called on the community members to enhance organizational capacity.
Among the community members, Mr. Sirak Bahlibi, indicated that youths are playing major role in the nation-building process, and called on fellow nationals to become beneficiaries of the new investment prospects in the Homeland. Moreover, he pointed out that parents should exert more endeavors as regards nurturing dynamic and responsible youth generation.
The participants of the meeting voiced satisfaction with the development accomplishments in the country.
