Asmara, 5 March 2013 – The Eritrean community members in Leeds city, UK, have expressed readiness to step up participation in State affairs. They made the pledge at a seminar during which they also voiced staunch resistance against anti-Eritrea agendas.
The Eritrean Ambassador to the UK and Ireland, Mr. Tesfamichael Gerahtu, gave extensive briefings regarding the objective situation in the Homeland vis-à-vis the role of popular resistance in foiling successive hostile acts against the nation. He further called on the seminar participants to become beneficiaries of the new investment prospects in the country.
Moreover, reports indicated that briefings were given as regards the ongoing preparations for the forthcoming YPFDJ conference due to be conducted from 28 March to 1 April.
