The Administration of Gash-Barka region has organized a 6-month training course for 260 new staff members in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.
Barentu, 9 March 2013 – The Administration of Gash-Barka region has organized a 6-month training course for 260 new staff members in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Rezene Abraha, head of Administration and Finance in the office, pointed out that it has been exerting stepped-up efforts towards ensuring quality service through raising human resource capacity. He further called on the graduates to do their level best in their respective careers.
Mr. Berhane Gebru, head of human resource department in the regional Administration, disclosed that the training course involved Accounting, Human Resource Management, Material Management, Secretarial Science and Archiving and Records.
A representative of the graduates indicated that the course comprised a 2-month theoretical training and an intensive internship, and expressed the beneficiaries’ satisfaction with it.
In concluding remarks, the Administrator of Gash-Barka region, Mr. Mohammed Hamd, said that the beneficiaries of the training are expected to play major role in their respective jobs, and that the Administration would collaborate with them.
