Tessenei, 13 March 2013 – The inhabitants of Alebu Administrative area said that various factories in the locality have created remarkable job opportunities.
Among the employees of Banatom banana and tomato processing plant, Ms. Asha Adem and Ms. Asha Al-Amin explained that the inhabitants have become primary beneficiaries of diverse job opportunities and products following the establishment of a number of factories. They further indicated that they are thus in a position to acquire skill knowhow in several domains.
In the same vein, Maj. Kibreab Abraham, head of public technique service in Gash-Barka region, pointed out that the government’s commitment towards ensuring even distribution of industrial zones nationwide has given rise to a ground for several rural inhabitants to become prime beneficiaries of job opportunities and products. “Integrated irrigation farms are also playing significant role in this regard,” he added.
