Laelai-Gash sub-zone: NUEW members express readiness to enhance role in national development process

The NUEW members in the Administrative areas of Dersenei, Kormaria, Hadish-Adi and Aitera, Laelai-Gash sub-zone, have expressed readiness to back up the national development drive. Augaro, 14 March 2013 – The NUEW members in the Administrative areas of Dersenei, Kormaria, Hadish-Adi and Aitera, Laelai-Gash sub-zone, have expressed readiness to back up the national development drive.

They further called on the Union to step up its endeavors targeting members living in rural areas with a view to raising women’s participation in socio-economic and political activities.

Among the members of the Union, Ms. Kedish Zewoldi, Ms. Nigisti Gebre, Ms. Hiriyti Habremariam and Ms. Hajer Hailemichael pointed out that they are striving to improve their financial capability and enhance their organizational capacity so as to ensure still more gratifying participation in State affairs.
