Exhibition opens in connection with silver jubilee of Nadew Command’s demise commemoration

An exhibition depicting the heroic feats of the EPLF freedom fighters and the Eritrean people, as well as the defeat of the Ethiopian forces of occupation has opened in connection with the silver jubilee of Nadew Command’s demise commemoration. Afabet, 17 March 2013 – An exhibition depicting the heroic feats of the EPLF freedom fighters and the Eritrean people, as well as the defeat of the Ethiopian forces of occupation has opened in connection with the silver jubilee of Nadew Command’s demise commemoration.

Mr. Al-Amin Mohamed Seid, Secretary of the PFDJ, inaugurated the exhibition comprising paintings and sculptures prepared by 22 artists, 4 of whom are females. The canvases also portray different social and military scenarios of the armed struggle.

Among the artists, Abraham Tesfazgi expressed conviction that the exhibition would have remarkable input to the endeavors of documentation and popularization of national values to this end.

Reports indicated that the exhibitions would be open until the 19th of this month.
