A new Junior and Elementary school in Tekombia semi-urban center, the construction of which is due to be finalized shortly, is expected to create better environment for the teaching-learning process. Augaro, 18 March 2013 – A new Junior and Elementary school in Tekombia semi-urban center, the construction of which is due to be finalized shortly, is expected to create better environment for the teaching-learning process.

Mr. Legese Hadish, director of the school, pointed out that it comprises 20 class rooms, laboratory, computer center, library, toilet and other facilities. He further voiced conviction that the school would adequately meet the growing demand out of higher community awareness regarding education. Moreover, he indicated that the way the school has been equipped is a stepping stone towards ensuring standardized educational service.

Mr. Legese also called for enhanced parental role as regards promoting the impact of education in remote areas.

Ms. Amete Gebresilassie, a member of Parents’ Committee, asserted that especially Junior level students will be in a position to enjoy conducive educational atmosphere following the opening of the school.
