Eritrean community members in Toronto city and its environs have expressed readiness to back the national development drive.

Asmara, 18 March 2013 – Eritrean community members in Toronto city and its environs have expressed readiness to back the national development drive. They made the pledge at a meeting conducted yesterday, during which they lauded the development accomplishments being registered in the Homeland despite the continued external conspiracies against the nation.

The nationals further indicated that that they would support government endeavors towards promoting economic investment, besides enhancing their role in State affairs.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Berhe Habtegiorgis, gave elaborate briefings regarding the nation’s development pace vis-à-vis the economic policies charted and participation of nationals in investment. Moreover, he called on the nationals to enhance their staunch resistance against anti-Eritrea agendas.
