The Eritrean Secondary Education Certificate Examination (ESECE) 2013 got underway today in the country and abroad. Asmara, 18 March 2013 – The Eritrean Secondary Education Certificate Examination (ESECE) 2013 got underway today in the country and abroad.
The Bureau of Standards and Evaluation, National Board for Higher Education, indicated that 19,279 candidates have sat for the examination which is due to last until the 23rd of this month.
Dr. Bissrat Ghebru, Director of the Bureau of Standards and Evaluation, pointed out that 17,456 of the nationals sitting for the examination comprise students from Warsai Yikealo Secondary School in Sawa, while the rest are from Technical, Agro-Technical and Commercial Schools, as well as private candidates from the International Eritrean Schools in Saudi Arabia.
The examinations would be given both in English and Arabic involving 14 subjects.
