Participants of the commemoration of Nadew Command’s demise said that community camps staged on the occasion are vital in popularizing cultural and national values.

Afabet, 19 March 2013 – Participants of the commemoration of Nadew Command’s demise said that community camps staged on the occasion are vital in popularizing cultural and national values. They further called on pertinent bodies to exert further efforts to this end.

Among the commemoration participants, Ms. Saedia Idris, Mr. Mohammed-Nur Mohammed and Abdalla Mohammed Seid indicated that colonial powers and occupation forces had made serious attempt to erode such values, and that the present generation is striving towards popularizing and nurturing them.

In the same vein, Omar Mohammed and Amna Figurai, both youths, expressed conviction that Eritrean youths retain impressive enthusiasm as regards keeping intact their values in this era of overwhelming global impact in this regard.
