The Education Ministry’s branch in Dige sub-zone has called on Area administrators and line ministries to enhance their respective role in endeavors to register still more gratifying accomplishment regarding adult education. Dige, 19 March 2013 – The Education Ministry’s branch in Dige sub-zone has called on Area administrators and line ministries to enhance their respective role in endeavors to register still more gratifying accomplishment regarding adult education. It made the call at an assessment meeting, during which Mr. Saleh Haji, the sub-zonal Administrator, disclosed that various Adult Education Centers are rendering commendable service in the locality, and that stepped up efforts are required to raise women’s participation in the program.

Mr. Ali Kier, head of the branch office, pointed out that more than 1,000 nationals are attending adult education classes in 21 centers. He further noted the need for reinforcing the venture so as to attain the cherished goal.

Among the participants of the program, Ms. Asha Adem from Mogoreeb Administrative area expressed satisfaction with being able to read and write, and called on fellow inhabitants to seize the opportunity.
