Youth nationals in Sudan extend material support to Education Ministry’s branch in Northern Red Sea region

Afabet, 19 March 2013 – A number of youth nationals residing in the Republic of Sudan who came to take part in the 25th commemoration of Nadew Command’s demise have extended educational materials to the Education Ministry’s branch in the Northern Red Sea region.

Speaking at the handing session in Afabet semi-urban center, Mr. Tesfai Tekle, general director of social service department in the regional Administration, expressed appreciation for the initiative taken by the youths, and said that it attests to the prevailing attachment of the Eritrean youth with the Homeland.

Likewise, Mr. Reshid Osman, head of the branch office, indicated that the donated materials are vital in enhancing the teaching-learning process at regional level, and lauded the youths’ charitable stance.

Among the youths, Abraham Rusom, voiced satisfaction with having engaged in the initiative, and asserted that they would step up participation in State affairs.

Mr. Ahmed Jaefer, head of the NUEYS branch in the region, equally pointed out that such bighearted tendency to back national endeavors is an upshot of the living bond between youth nationals and the Homeland.
