The head of the agitation and information department in the Health Ministry branch in the Northern Red Sea region, Mr. Birhane Alemseged, stated that extensive campaigning programs have been undertaken in the major urban centers of the region, while efforts are underway to reach the remaining places of the region. He also called on the trainees to apply the training they received effectively.
Noting that the training would enable them bring about behavioral change and discuss their problems with peers freely, Mr. Amanuel Girmatsion, the trainer, on his part reminded the trainees to live up to expectations of the Health Ministry.
The administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Abdu Mohammed Talke on his part stressed the nomadic lifestyle of most of the people in the area which leaves them with little health awareness and called on the trainees to remedy what many of the inhabitants lack.
