Infrastructure developments put in place in Gash-Barka region attract for more investment: Inhabitants of Central region
Inhabitants from different areas in the Central region who conducted working tour to Gash-Barka region indicated that the infrastructure developments put in place in the region would attract potential investors to invest in the region.
Barentu, 7 April 2013- Inhabitants from different areas in the Central region who conducted working tour to Gash-Barka region indicated that the infrastructure developments put in place in the region would attract potential investors to invest in the region.
The more than 100 tour participants who are aspiring to invest in the region seizing the investment opportunity given to nationals, after visiting the dams of Gerset, Fanco-Tsimu’e, Fanco-Rawi and Kerkebet, said that the dams and their water content coupled with the land prepared for cultivation would encourage them invest their resources.
Ms. Emuna Asgede and Mr. Atsmegergis Fishatsion expressed appreciation for the efforts on the part of the Government to enable citizens become beneficiaries of their natural resources and that it won’t be long that Eritrea would be food self-sufficient. They further appreciated for the opportunity they were provided to invest their resources.
Likewise, Mr. Berket Tekeste and Mr. Habtemariam Yemanu said that they have found the areas they visited beyond expectations and that the explanations they have been provided by experts have added impetus to their investment programs. They also called on every abled national to use the investment opportunity.
