Post Office branch in Barentu striving to upgrade service quality

The Administration of the Post Office branch in Barentu city said that it is striving to upgrade service quality. Barentu, 13 April 2013 – The Administration of the Post Office branch in Barentu city said that it is striving to upgrade service quality.

Mr. Andebirhan Berhe, head of the branch office, pointed out that it has been rendering services targeting money transfer, parcel and registered, as well as regular mail, and that it owns 200 postal boxes which are rented at fair price. Moreover, he disclosed that the number of customers is on the rise vis-à-vis diversity of demand, and that sub-branches were subsequently opened in Gogne, Shambuko and Tokombia sub-zones.

Reports indicate that more than 9,600 letters were mailed to and fro the country based on the branch office last year, while around 10,000 others were delivered to nationals living in the aforementioned sub-zones and about 440,000 Nakfa was transferred.
