The inhabitants of Emahmime expressed satisfaction for the social services put in place in their area and as a result they are leading stable life.
Emahmime, 14 April 2013- The inhabitants of Emahmime expressed satisfaction for the social services put in place in their area and as a result they are leading stable life.
They explained that during the armed struggle for independence because their area has been a battle field they were compelled to flee their area and that after independence, thanks to the Government, potable water, education and health services have been put in place in their back yards and that they have been able to lead stable life.
They further indicated that the water project put in place in Emahmime has reduced the burden of women to fetch water from far distance and instead concentrate in their education and that they have been able to become competitive in their education.
The Emahmime semi-urban center, Krora sub-zone, currently has schools ranging from kindergartens to a High School, health center, electricity power supply as well as five water supply points operating with solar system.
