A joint meeting has been conducted in Logo-Anseba sub-zone with a view to reinforcing the teaching-learning process through ensuring active participation on the part of parents, teachers and students.

Asmara, 15 April 2013 – A joint meeting has been conducted in Logo-Anseba sub-zone with a view to reinforcing the teaching-learning process through ensuring active participation on the part of parents, teachers and students.

 

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Kidane Woldesilasie, Administrator of the sub-zone, called on the community in general and parents, as well as teachers in particular to play due role towards the realization of the cherished goal.

Moreover, he advised students to concentrate on their educational pursuit.

Meanwhile, heading a seminar dealing with the role of women in national development programs, Ms. Alem Belai, head of the NUEW branch in Gash-Barka region, indicated that the Union has been striving to enhance women’s participation in all domains. Ms. Tsigeweini Gebresilasie, head of the Union’s branch in the sub-zone, on her part made note of the significant role of Eritrean women from the period of the armed struggle for independence until now, and asserted that such level of participation attests to their upholding the stance of self-reliance.
