SCSA awards Eritrean sports officials

Maj. General Romodan Osman Awolyai, Sports Commissioner, and Mr. Tesfay Gebreyesus, President of Eritrean Football Federation, during a ceremony conducted to day at the Sports Commission Hall were awarded Medal of Honour sent to them from the Supreme Council for Sports in Africa (CSSA).

Asmara, 23 April 2013- Maj. General Romodan Osman Awolyai, Sports Commissioner, and Mr. Tesfay Gebreyesus, President of Eritrean Football Federation, during a ceremony conducted to day at the Sports Commission Hall were awarded Medal of Honour sent to them from the Supreme Council for Sports in Africa (CSSA).

The two Eritrean senior officials were nominated for the award during a meeting African Sports Ministers held on 9 November 2012 in Congo Brazzaville.

Likewise, members of different national federations that have been serving in different capacities received certificate of merit from Col. Solomon Seium, Head of the National Federations and Olympics Committee.

Moreover, Maj. Gen. Romodan Osman Awolyai handed over letter of appreciation to members of the election committees that have been running the different National Federations elections.
