Eritrean nationals residing in Chicago express readiness to back up national development programs

In a meeting they conducted on 21 April, Eritreans residing in Chicago, USA, said that they would reinforce their unity and contribute to the development programs in the Homeland.

Asmara, 24 April 2013- In a meeting they conducted on 21 April, Eritreans residing in Chicago, USA, said that they would reinforce their unity and contribute to the development programs in the Homeland.

In the meeting, Mr. Berhane Gebrehiwot, Executive of Affairs at the Eritrean Embassy, gave extensive briefings regarding the objective situation in the Homeland as well as regional and global situations.

Similarly, PFDJ members in center-west USA conducted annual congress on 20 and 21 April in the city of Chicago.

In the congress, Mr. Berhane Gebrehiwot, reminded Eritrean national residing abroad to enhance their participation in development programs in the Homeland and raise their awareness and capacity.

The participants expressed appreciation for the efforts which the Eritrean people and their leadership are exerting to ensure social justice and that they would live up to expectations to back up development programs and conduct staunch resistance against external conspiracies against the nation.
