Eritrean community members in Qatar stage sports contests in connection with Independence Day anniversary

Reports indicated that the Eritrean community members in Qatar have staged sports contests in connection with Independence Day anniversary.

Asmara, 25 April 2013 – Reports indicated that the Eritrean community members in Qatar have staged sports contests in connection with Independence Day anniversary.

Accordingly, the contest which is predominantly related to football involves 6 teams, and has vital impact in reflecting the prevailing spirit of nationalism among the community members.

The contests would continue until May 24, and winning teams would be awarded, according to the event’s coordinating committee.
