Inhabitants of Segeneiti and Dekemhare sub-zones express readiness to back up national development drive
The inhabitants of Segeneiti and Dekemhare sub-zones have expressed readiness to back up the national development drive. They made the pledge at separate meetings they conducted with the Administrator of the Southern region, Mr. Efrem Gebrekristos, during which they asserted that community role is vital in the national endeavors of improving the livelihood of citizens.
Dekemhare, 25 April 2013 – The inhabitants of Segeneiti and Dekemhare sub-zones have expressed readiness to back up the national development drive. They made the pledge at separate meetings they conducted with the Administrator of the Southern region, Mr. Efrem Gebrekristos, during which they asserted that community role is vital in the national endeavors of improving the livelihood of citizens.
The participants of the meeting further called on dairy farmers to expand the scope of green feed production, and put forth views pertaining to various issues.
The regional Administrator expressed the Administration’s readiness to meet public demand in a prioritized manner, and pointed out that preparations are being made to restore the severe erosion-hit gorge around Dekemhare city.
