The Junior and Elementary School in Dembe-Doran village, Molqi sub-zone, is reportedly witnessing growing trend of student registration following the upgrading of its infrastructural and other facilities.

Molqi, 26 April 2013 – The Junior and Elementary School in Dembe-Doran village, Molqi sub-zone, is reportedly witnessing growing trend of student registration following the upgrading of its infrastructural and other facilities.

Mr. Haile Kinfe, director of the school, explained that the availability of conducive environment for the teaching-learning process has not only encouraged participation of children in education but also student commitment in academic pursuit.

Among students, Mebrahtu Alemayo, Mer’at-Ab Hagos, Tsegai Tekhlia and Misgun Mehari expressed satisfaction with the current facilities of the school vis-à-vis the service it is rendering.

Reports indicate that the school comprises 9 class rooms, teachers’ residential block, offices and other accommodations, and has around 550 students from the villages of Semerna, Mai-Lam, Dembe-Tierer, Hutsatat and Dembe-Dima.
