The Eritrean community members in the UK are carrying out extensive preparations for the 22nd Independence Day Anniversary celebrations.
Asmara, 27 April 2013 – The Eritrean community members in the UK are carrying out extensive preparations for the 22nd Independence Day Anniversary celebrations.
The celebrations are due to take place from the 18th of May to the 2nd of June in the cities of Leads, Birmingham, Sheffield, Coventry, Newcastle, London and Liverpool. The programs to be staged during the momentous event would depict the armed struggle for independence vis-à-vis the nation building pace which is the outcome of the national policy of self-reliance, according to reports.
Moreover, the activities are expected to portray national traditions and provide favorable environment for bequeathing national values to the young generation, besides the resources and new investment prospective in the Homeland.
A number of nationals, comrades and diplomats are due to take part in the celebrations, reports added.
