Eritrean community members in Germany and Canada express readiness to back up national economic investment ventures

Asmara, 4 May 2013 – The Eritrean community members in the Canadian cities of Winnipeg and Manitoba, as well as Ulm, Germany, have expressed readiness to back up the national economic investment ventures.
The community members in Ulm city made the pledge at a meeting, during which they voiced appreciation for the Eritrean people’s steadfastness and held extensive discussion as regards the new investment prospects in the Homeland.
Moreover, briefings were given at the meetings pertaining to the role of the media in psychological war vis-à-vis elaborations regarding the hostile acts against the nation in that respect. The participants also put forth several views as regards ways and means of reinforcing the community’s organizational capacity, according to reports.
Meanwhile, the Eritrean community members in the Canadian cities conducted extensive discussion regarding the objective situation in the Homeland. Mr. Semere Gebremariam, head of Consular Affairs at the Eritrean Embassy in the country, gave briefings on the ongoing government endeavors to lay conducive environment for investment, and called on the nationals to become primary beneficiaries of opportunities.
The participants of the meeting said that the nation’s development pace is gratifying in contrast with the fact that it is witnessing continued hostile acts designed to sap such a momentum.
