Inhabitants of Dige sub-zone called upon to utilize social service facilities prudently

The Administration of Dige sub-zone has called on the inhabitants to enhance prudent utilization of social service facilities.

Dige, 4 May 2013 – The Administration of Dige sub-zone has called on the inhabitants to enhance prudent utilization of social service facilities. It made the call at a meeting during which it was stated that community participation is a major prerequisite in national endeavors to improve the livelihood of rural area dwellers.

Mr. Saleh Haji, Administrator of the sub-zone, pointed out that current plans of the Administration involve various ventures such as soil and water conservation, promotion of community-based style of living, livestock survey and community-led environmental hygiene. He further indicated that efforts would be made to reinforce social services in the locality.

The participants of the meeting put forth views regarding several issues.
