Parents and students in Dengolo Laelai Administrative area, Ginda sub-zone, have expressed satisfaction with the upgrading of the Elementary School to junior level.
Ginda, 4 May 2013 – Parents and students in Dengolo Laelai Administrative area, Ginda sub-zone, have expressed satisfaction with the upgrading of the Elementary School to junior level.
Mr. Tekleab Asgedom, a members of the school’s Parents Committee, and Commander Asmelash Bitew explained that students are in a position to save time and energy following the launching of new junior education service, while parents have started to easily follow up scholastic affairs of their children.
Among students, Nigisti Asmelash, Ertra Mesfin, Metkel Musie and Kisanet Girmai indicated that they used to attend class at the junior school in Ginda town, thus wasting a lot of time and energy.
They further expressed appreciation for the school’s conducive environment.
Mr. Suleiman Ibrahim, director of the school, pointed out that higher student performance has been noted following its upgrading, especially in case of 8th graders, and lauded the active role of teachers and parents to this end.
