Nacfa, 9 May 2013 – Reports indicated that conferences have been conducted in Qrora and Adobha sub-zones targeting enhancement of youth role in State affairs.

The conference participants conducted discussion regarding ways and means of reinforcing youth participation in all domains, and called on communities and government bodies to step up participation in this regard. They further noted the need of invigorating NUEYS activities in remote areas.

Mr. Tadese Gebregiorgis and Mr. Ahmed Mohammed-Nur, Administrators of Qrora and Adobha sub-zones respectively, explained that the issues addressed in the conference are vital as regards raising the Union’s activities targeting remote areas. Moreover, they called on youths to demonstrate higher enthusiasm pertaining to career and education, and expressed the Administrations’ readiness to collaborate with the youth.

Likewise, Mr. Ahmed Jaefer, head of the NUEYS branch in the Northern Red Sea region, said that integrated endeavors on the part of government bodies and the PFDJ constitute a major prerequisite as regards ensuring all-round youth competence. He also called for persistent efforts on the part of the communities and sub-zonal Administrations to this end.
