Southern Red Sea region: preparations for Independence Day reaching finalization

The Holidays Coordinating Committee of the Southern Red Sea region indicated that preparations for the 22nd Independence Day observances are reaching finalization featuring culture and mode of living of the society, meaning and spirit of independence, as well as economic progress being achieved in the Homeland and future prospects.

Assab, 11 May 2013- The Holidays Coordinating Committee of the Southern Red Sea region indicated that preparations for the 22nd Independence Day observances are reaching finalization featuring culture and mode of living of the society, meaning and spirit of independence, as well as economic progress being achieved in the Homeland and future prospects.

It further pointed out that the celebrations which will commence on 13 May will also include tour of cultural troupes of the region to all sub-zones, exhibitions, academic and cultural activities, as well as community banquets.
