Qrora, 12 May 2013 – A health station is being constructed in Qrora Administrative area at a total expenditure of more than 7 million Nakfa.
Reports indicate that the health station would accommodate 8 rooms, a toilet and residence of staff members, while health personnel have already been assigned to it.
The inhabitants of Qrora Administrative area, which used to lead a scattered pattern of living, have reportedly been facing several challenges in connection with accessibility of health facilities.
Accordingly, the community would be in a position to save time and energy following the putting in place of the health station.
The inhabitants pointed out that they have become beneficiaries of various social service facilities, on the basis of which their livelihood has by and large been improved. They further asserted that they would collaborate in the health institution’s construction.
Among the inhabitants, Mr. Saleh Mohammed-Ali, Ms. Akhiar Saleh, Mr. Abdullahi Mohammed and Mr. Idris Seid disclosed that availability of basic social service facilities has provided groundwork for promoting community-based style of living in the area, and lauded the government’s commitment to rural development.
