The inhabitants of Lokoch Administrative area, Dige sub-zone, said that their livelihood is improving vis-à-vis the development accomplishments registered in the area over the past 22 years.

Dige, 12 May 2013 – The inhabitants of Lokoch Administrative area, Dige sub-zone, said that their livelihood is improving vis-à-vis the development accomplishments registered in the area over the past 22 years. They further indicated that they have become beneficiaries of education, potable water supply and other facilities, and that community-based living style has been popularized adequately.

Among the inhabitants, Ms. Fatina Osman and Mr. Ali Abdalla explained that social service facilities have provided groundwork for promoting community-based living, and that the community has attained exemplary image to this end.

Mr. Saleh Mahmoud, Administrator of Lokoch area, pointed out that effective utilization of social service facilities is being witnessed. In the same vein, Mr. Idris Abubeker, director of the Elementary school in the locality, disclosed that the trend of female participation in education is on the rise.

Lokoch village is inhibited by around 3,000 people.
