Central region Administrative areas make ample preparations for carnival shows

Reports indicate that Administrative areas in the Central region have made ample preparations for carnival shows in connection with Independence Day observances.

Asmara, 17 May 2013 – Reports indicate that Administrative areas in the Central region have made ample preparations for carnival shows in connection with Independence Day observances. The Area administrations further pointed out that such opportunities are good opportunity for popularizing national values.

Among the city residents, Mr. Tewolde Yemane, Mr. Fanus Haile, Siem Efrem and Goitom Gebregziabher explained that active popular participation was witnessed in organizing the event, which is due to depict the prevailing spirit of nationalism among nationals.

Meanwhile, the activities which have been conducted in connection with Independence Day anniversary by youth workers in the region have been concluded yesterday. In closing remarks, the Administrator of the Central region, Mr. Kahsai Gebreghiwet, called on called on youth workers to enhance organizational capacity.
