Independence Day celebrations mark an occasion in which nationals renew commitment to their country and people: Eritrean nationals residing in Holland

During the celebration they conducted in connection with the 22nd Independence Day anniversary under the theme “ERITREA: Shield of Resilience and Nobility of Work”, Eritrean nationals residing in Holland said that it is the occasion in which they renew commitment to their country and people.

Asmara, 21 May 2013- During the celebration they conducted in connection with the 22nd Independence Day anniversary under the theme “ERITREA: Shield of Resilience and Nobility of Work”, Eritrean nationals residing in Holland said that it is the occasion in which they renew commitment to their country and people.

Mr. Desie Fishatsion, Chairman of the Eritrean community in Zwolle and its environs, said that Independence Day is being celebrated at a time in which the nation is progressing into higher economic development and expressed appreciation for the popular associations’ contribution in colorfully highlighting the occasion.

The participants on their part indicated that thanks to its united people, including committed youths it would not be long for Eritrea to realize its vision, and that they would reinforce participation for the success of national development programs and safeguarding the sovereignty and dignity of their country.

Cultural and artistic programs added color to the event, reports indicated.
