More messages of congratulations flow in connection with Independence Day observance

Dr. Mohamed Morsy, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, President Anibal Cavaco Silva of Portugal, and President Pranab Mukherjee of India, respectively sent messages of congratulations in connection with the 22nd Independence Day anniversary.

Asmara, 23 May 2013 – Dr. Mohamed Morsy, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, President Anibal Cavaco Silva of Portugal, and President Pranab Mukherjee of India, respectively sent messages of congratulations in connection with the 22nd Independence Day anniversary.

In their respective messages, the leaders wished President Isaias good health, as well as peace and prosperity to the Eritrean people.

Moreover, President Mukherjee expressed conviction that bilateral ties between Eritrea and India would be fostered in a way that benefits the two nations and their peoples.
