Patriotic zeal witnessed at community banquets in Central region

Reports indicated that patriotic zeal was witnessed at the community banquets conducted today in the 3 sub-zones and 13 Administrative areas of the Central region.

Asmara, 23 May 2013 – Reports indicated that patriotic zeal was witnessed at the community banquets conducted today in the 3 sub-zones and 13 Administrative areas of the Central region.

Accordingly, the events involved students’ parade and traditional cultural shows, and the inhabitants cheerfully asserted that the event is an occasion during which nationals should reiterate their pledge to enhance role in the nation-building process and safeguarding its dignity.

Among the participants, Sheikh Mohammed Sultan and Rev. Mehari Gebremichael said that the celebration of the momentous Day at a time when the nation’s development triumph has become ever more evident attests to the prevalence of steadfastness among nationals. They further pointed out that the event shoulders the responsibility of keeping intact such spirit of nationalism.

Moreover, Yohanes Mulugeta, Eden Zere, Mr. Hassan Shamlai, Ms. Amna Mahmoud and Ms. Rahwa Teklesenbet reiterated their pledge to step up participation in national development programs, in addition to mounting staunch resistance against external conspiracies.
