Asmara, 24 May 2013 – Reports indicated that community banquets organized in connection with the 22nd Independence Day anniversary depicted the people’s readiness to reinforce the nation-building process vis-à-vis spirit of resistance against anti-Eritrea agendas.

The participants pointed out that such vivacious community-based celebrations attest to the prevailing societal harmony. Among the participants, Rev. Yonas Kidane, Mr. Habtai Gede, Sheikh Ahmed Yusuf, Mr. Semere Tekle and Ms. Adhanet Yusuf reiterated their pledge to step up participation in the implementation of national development programs, and said that the nation would attaint higher development thanks to the steadfastness of its people and committed leadership.
