Asmara, 28 May 2013 – Presidents Abdel-Aziz Bouteflika of Algeria, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi of Yemen, Bronislaw Komorowski of Poland, as well as Kings Carl Gustaf of Sweden and Mohammed VI of Morocco, along with THE UN Secretary General, Mr. Ban Ki-Moon, sent messages of congratulations in connection with the 22nd Independence Day anniversary.

In their respective messages, the leaders wished President Isaias good health, as well as peace and prosperity to the Eritrean people.

In his message, Mr. Ban Ki-Moon underlined that Eritrea’s active engagement in the work of the United Nations is crucial in advancing common goals of peace and development.
